Hi there!

It's me, Mik, the girl behind the camera! 

I'm a creative designer, portrait photographer + artist currently based in Elkhart, IN. I have a wide range of interests but they all center around creating + using my passion to capture life's beautiful moments. Outside of photography; you’ll often find me working on various graphic design projects, going for walks on the beach with my pitbull, Piper, or remixing music for my friends and I to jam to. There isn’t a day that goes by where I’m not creating.

I am a natural light photographer who is so passionate about what I do and everything that comes with it. I appreciate the people I meet, the places I go, and the spontaneity in every session.

There is nothing I love more than spending time with good people + capturing their big life milestones. I have been behind the camera since high school; but didn’t become serious about portrait photography until college. Fast forward to now, with a few years practice, I have not only grown my skills, but the community of people I’ve been able to get to know along the way.

I appreciate the raw reality of everyday life and the fleeting beauty of those in between moments. I do my best to take every picture with that in mind. I want viewers to relate to my photographs through recognition of familiarity with the situations, emotions, and the energy so much that they wonder if they're looking at a picture of someone that they know.
